1. Who you are contracting with

Grappler Quest ("the Service") is operated by Anton Malek ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

You confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction and, if using the Service on behalf of an organisation, that you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. The Service

Grappler Quest is a gamified fitness web application for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners, offering solo drills and quests, mobility flows, reaction-training arenas, progression systems, guilds, and an AI coaching assistant. A free account gives access to character creation and the White Belt Village region; a paid subscription unlocks the remaining features.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• engage in fraud, spam, or abuse of other users or of in-game economies;
• infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
• interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, including introducing malware, probing or scanning, scraping, or circumventing technical limits or paywalls;
• reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have selected.

5. Health disclaimer

The drills, timers and coaching content in the Service are for general fitness and educational purposes only and are not medical advice. Consult a qualified professional before beginning any exercise programme. You train at your own risk.

6. AI features

The AI coach ("Sensei's Counsel") generates automated suggestions that may be inaccurate or incomplete. Outputs are not professional medical, physiotherapy or coaching advice, and you are responsible for the prompts you submit and how you act on outputs. We may filter, restrict, or refuse outputs and remove content that violates these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

We retain all ownership of the Service and its intellectual property, including software, artwork, audio, branding and documentation. Content you submit remains yours; you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it; repeat infringers may lose access.

8. Payments, subscriptions and refunds

Grappler Quest Premium is billed at $5.99 per month until cancelled. Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each billing period and can be cancelled at any time, with access continuing until the end of the paid period.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See also our Refund Policy.

9. Service level

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features may change, and we may perform maintenance without notice.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may close your account at any time. On termination, your access ends and your data may be deleted after a reasonable export window.

11. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, unlawful use of the Service, or breach of these Terms.

12. General

You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute.
